What would good old George Wallace think of Barack Hussein Obama and the modern Democrat Party?
:"I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny, and I say segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever. " -George Wallace talking about forcing the white man’s childs going to school with the dangerous neegro childs…
"If any demonstrator ever lays down in front of my car, it’ll be the last car he’ll ever lay down in front of. " -George Wallace talking about the liberals…
"I’ve seen many politicians paralyzed in the legs as myself, but I’ve seen more of them who were paralyzed in the head. " George Wallace talking about lib politicians…
"A racist is one who despises someone because of his color, and an Alabama segregationist is one who conscientiously believes that it is in the best interest of Negro and white to have a separate education and social order." -George Wallace responding to the Race card…
"And it is a sad day in our country that you cannot walk even in your neighborhoods at night or even in the daytime because both national parties, in the last number of years, have kowtowed to every group of anarchists that have roamed the streets of San Francisco and Los Angeles and throughout the country. And now they have created themselves a Frankenstein monster, and the chickens are coming home to roost all over this country." "Yes, they’ve looked down their nose at you and me a long time. They’ve called us rednecks — the Republicans and the Democrats. Well, we’re going to show, there sure are a lot of rednecks in this country." – George Wallace talking in the 1968 Presidential Election…

And the current crop of liberal democrats will never admit that George Wallace was right about a lot of things. He was opposing political correctness and now we are starting to see how much damage it is doing to our country. I voted for George Wallace and would do so again if it was a choice between him and any of this group of liberal leftist democratrs who now control the democratic party.
Wallace was a racist.
He would feel right at home in the democrat party today.
I piss on his stinking grave.
Edit: I don’t care if he "changed his ways" — he ruined a lot of lives with his ignorance.
He would be ashamed at the depths of lies and deceit that they have sunk too!
Who cares what Wallace would think, he was openly racist. Also, you’re forgetting the before the civil rights movement in the 1960’s, the party of conservatism, especially in the racist white south, was the Democratic party.
Yes and if you remember that went over so well. Can you say shot and wheelchair.~
Obama is George Wallace
Wallace would be a proud republican today.
He’d fit right in at the teabaggings.
Are we referring to all politicians by their middle names now? Or are you just a brainwashed idiot who finds Arabic names "scary"?
Wallace changed before he died. Will you.
I’m not an Obama fan, but racial attacks only harm the cause of seeing him fail. Oppose him because of his policies not because of his race.
today, wallace would be a republican, and for the record (not that you are interested in accuracy), wallace ran as an american independent candidate, not as a democrat. But your quotes do accurately portray wallace as a racist, running on a strict segregationist platform. Finally, tricky dick ran the first fear mongering campaign, in 1968, albeit a subtle one.
why don’t you just ask him when you meet him in hell?
I am constantly amazed at people who take George Wallace at his most racist and believe that he really thought this way.Seems you don’t remember history or ignore the parts you don’t like.
Before he died Wallace traveled all over the south and gave talks in African-American churches. He apologized for his use of race-hatred in his run for the Presidency. At a lot of these meetings he asked for forgiveness for what he himself called un-forgivable lies. And a whole lot of black people forgave him.
By the way Wallace was the man who coined the phrase "race card". He assumed he had the south all sown up in the election and was looking for a way to get to the blue-collar vote in the north. What he came up with was "We’ll scare the hell out of them by pulling the race-card out"
Now this was in a time before everyone had video camera’s.I remember him talking in a church and I have to admit I was skeptical. But the people he was talking to believed him and it ended up that’s who he wanted to believe him and in some of the old films you can see black people walking up to his wheelchair and accepting his apology.
Wallace was a racist–he changed his ways, thankfully. Hopefully you will too.
