How do you like the beggining of my story?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Open to suggestions, advice, ext. This is for a creative writing project. Tell me what you think. Oh, and I dont need people telling me that I spelled something wrong.. Thats just gets so annoying! And this is the rough draft beggining.
Thanks

My throat ached as I screamed for water. I was dying for thirst.
"Where is April?" I though to myself.
I sat down on the sandy, deserted land. A beetle crawled on my leg, with no other sign of animals. For miles and miles, there were only a few plants. No water was near, as the sun shown its crisp, gold, hot self shinging right on me.
"All I need in this stupid desert was to experience a stupid day with no water for this dumb powerpint project. What do I get back? My friend being late to pick me up and me prcatically dying," I said to myself.
Suddently, I started to see a red, hot sports car driving towards me. Instintly, I knew Aopril was finally coming. Slowly, the car drew to me. I hopped in the car.
"Why are you so late?" I started to yell to April.
"Gosh, Carlie, calm down. Sorry I was late. I went to Josh’s house and lost track of time."
A bottle of water caught my eye. I soon found myself gobbling the water down.

Do you girls (ages 15-17) think am I a turn off to you?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I need to know if I am I turn off. I will listen to girls, and there problems I try to help when I can, I’m not inconsiderate. I only like Classic Rock, I like muscle, and classic cars,I like to draw, play the guitar, fix things, cook, swim, go to car shows, and off road driving, I don’t like new cars, new country, rap, pop, or modern rock, or being the center of attention. I am 5,10" my weight is about 115, but I don’ look scary thin, I started doing some exercises to get muscular, My hair cut is like Peirce Brosnan’s, but I comb it different, I don’t have a good tan yet ,but I have been told by many hot girls I look,"cute",but none of those girls have went out with me yet. There is alot more ,but not enough time ,or space. Is there anything you don’t like about me, and how should I fix it?

Do you think NASCAR could add another race abroad?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

A lot of places around the world love auto racing granted most like F1, but I was in Brazil and they have a stock car series that draws very well and most brazilians would like to see an American stock car race in Brazil. Maybe not a nextel cup race but maybe a busch series race in Brazil or maybe Europe? I like NASCAR for trying to attempt to reach out, something it does not get enough credit for.
Boogity they do have their own stock car league.

“Plastic Fantastic” sports car help?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

i need some help with a homework assignment. this is what the assignment sheet says:

Plastics are now widely used in the manufacture of car body parts.
Plastic parts are easily moulded and cheap to replace.
Some companies have developed car bodies made completely of plastic.

Your task:

Using an A4 sized sheet of paper, draw up an advertising poster for the "Plastic Fantastic" sports car, incorporating your own car design.

On your poster, include the following information:
- A slogan for your car
- Label any special features on your car
- A price guide for your car

so basically, what i need help with is a slogan and a price guide. how much would a plastic car cost? and what would any special features be? PLEASE HELP!!

thankyou in advance for any answers.

oh, and by the way, if you have no idea, please don’t say so, only answer if you have any idea at all.

cheers :D
